I always cry when my dad leaves for business trips now. Shouldn’t my mom be in the kitchen making him a lunch and wearing her sweatshirt and a pair of jeans to drive him to the airport?
The kitchen is dark right now. There are times when it hits me so hard that my world shakes. This is one of those times.
